Valley Heart Hospice Care provides home health aide for your personal care needs, such as bathing, light housekeeping, light laundry, and occasional shopping.

Admission Criteria

The patient must be terminally ill for hospice care eligibility and agree that they wish to receive palliative care rather than curative care. The attending physician gives the certification of terminal illness.

Who Pays for Hospice?

* Medicare/Medi-Cal Hospice Care is 100% covered by Medicare and Medicaid. No out-of-pocket costs are incurred by families. * Insurance/HMOs Health Maintenance Organizations often include hospice as a benefit.
